Terms of Service
Last Updated: June 2026. These terms govern all culinary bookings, subscriptions, and services provided by PrivateChef.ae across the UAE.
1. Bookings & Reservations
- Your date is secured only upon receipt of a deposit or full upfront payment.
- Final guest counts and dietary preferences must be locked in a minimum of 24 hours prior to the event.
2. Cancellations & Refunds
- Event Bookings: Cancellations made within 7 days of the scheduled event are non-refundable due to custom menu curation and ingredient provisioning.
- Meal Subscriptions: Subscription pauses or adjustments require a 24-hour notice prior to the next scheduled delivery cycle.
3. Kitchen Facilities & Sourcing
- The client must provide a clean, fully functional kitchen facility with operating water, power, and gas supply for all in-home or villa bookings.
- PrivateChef.ae sources only premium, organic, and globally acclaimed ingredients. Specific item sourcing is subject to seasonal availability in the UAE market.
4. Liability & Safety
- Severe food allergies or strict medical dietary requirements must be explicitly communicated in writing during the booking process.
- PrivateChef.ae holds full professional liability insurance across residential, villa, and luxury yacht catering environments.
5. Yacht & Venue Regulations
- For yacht charters, the client is responsible for ensuring the vessel’s galley meets our minimum cooking safety specifications prior to the chef’s arrival.
